I’m Michelle – the face behind the endless clips and grips!

I’ve been a hairdresser for 17 years now (which makes me feel slightly old saying it out loud!), I actually started specialising in wedding hair when I was 18. I worked as part of a bridal team in the early days to really learn my craft and gain as much experience as I could, I completely fell in love with it.

In my early twenties I travelled around Australia and Asia for nearly two years. While I was away, I carried on hairdressing and did some wedding hair in Australia, this was such an amazing experience and gave me so much confidence working with different styles and a variety of brides.

I returned home in 2016 and went straight back into bridal hair, in 2019 I decided to go solo.This was the best decision I made, it's allowed me to excel in all areas of my life. I absolutely love what I do – from the early morning wedding buzz, to being part of such a special morning with you and your favourite people. It never feels like “just a job”.

I also love how flexible my work is. It means I can enjoy time with my little family, go on walks, catch up with friends, and still pour my heart into my brides and the occasional photoshoot (which I LOVE doing).
